Bèjar Apartments

High-end residential development in Barcelona by Vívid Arquitectura

Architectural Photography: Bèjar Apartments by Vivid Arquitectura

This architectural photography series captures a contemporary residential development located on Béjar street in Barcelona, designed by Sant Cugat–based studio Vivid Arquitectura. Comprising eight high-end apartments ranging between 70 and 80 m², the project exemplifies modern urban living through sleek interior finishes, fluid vertical circulation, and a private Mediterranean courtyard garden.

The photoshoot documents the building's exterior façade, central architectural features, and open-plan interior design, emphasizing natural light, functional layout, and material harmony.

Sculptural Interiors, Vertical Movement, and Outdoor Living

The visual narrative explores the relationship between structural design, interior ergonomics, and the private oasis hidden within the urban block.

  • The Sculptural Central Stairwell: A defining feature of the interior common spaces is the multi-story spiral staircase. Captured from dynamic high and low angle perspectives, the images highlight its smooth surfaces, sweeping balustrades, and cascading glowing orb pendant lights suspended on delicate black cords.

  • Open-Concept Apartment Living: The series documents the efficient, open-plan layouts of the residences. Photography showcases full-height beige cabinetry, light wood accents, and multipurpose kitchen peninsulas featuring integrated cooktops. Living areas flow seamlessly toward large floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors, flooding the interior spaces with diffuse natural light.

  • Courtyard Oasis and Lap Pool: The ground-level communal garden offers a distinct Mediterranean contrast to the urban setting. Images capture the lap pool surrounded by beige stone pavers, sun loungers, and lush tropical flora—including palm trees and banana plants—set against the light beige rear elevation framed by vibrant sage green window accents.

Precision and Spatial Composition in Architectural Documentation

Photographing multi-unit urban residences requires precise framing to communicate both spatial volume and refined detail.

Strict vertical perspective alignment was maintained across all shots to highlight the clean lines of the custom cabinetry, window frames, and central staircase void. Exposure levels were carefully balanced to capture both the bright exterior courtyard light and the soft interior ambient lighting. The resulting portfolio provides a comprehensive architectural record of Vivid Arquitectura's thoughtful urban residential intervention in Barcelona.
